Nancy Eaton has written on the Apple News site on how Joel Kuwahara edited and archived vast amounts of precious teachings, recorded on audio and videotape by the Buddhist monks of Dharamsala using a Mac.
The story covers started by the monks looking for a better way to organize their sacred libraries and ended up digitizing them for preservation.

Toon Boom Studio is an
