I read this a little while ago, on rendering for TV output. The resolution for PAL is 768×576 pixels, NTSC is 768×480, D1 is 720×576 and the pixel aspect ratio is ‘(the vertical resolution ÷ the horizontal resolution) × 4/3’. Here are some websites I came across, back in November 2000 on XML co-inventor Tim Bray and his views on 3D rendering. ::: http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-3670541.html

I came across Bruno Jobard’s ‘PicText Service’. An awesome online program that converts any JPG and GIF to ASCII ART online. Bruno is a PhD student in Scientific Visualization and Flow Visualization in the Laboratoire d’informatique du Littoral at the Universite du Littoral of Calais, France. :::
