‘A Year in Review’ of the IT industry, according to the ‘San Francisco Gate’. It’s at times important to note that San Francisco was the first of all cities worldwide to show signs of the decline with the dot coms back in March 2000, followed later by Silicon Valley and then pretty much everyone else worldwide. 2001 saw the worst of times for the entire IT industry (chips, pc’s, mobile devices, dot coms, and internet infrastructure) to some, the worst in 35 years.
