What the hell is C# ? Released to the public in June 2000, C# (pronounced, C Sharp) was created by Microsoft and submitted to the ECMA for standardization. The language is the next development from C and C++, is object oriented, but allows plenty of flexibility and usability. It was developed by a team at Microsoft led by Anders Hejlsberg, who concequently created other products and languages such Borland Turbo C++ and Borland Delphi.
